Artists Creates Original Art
When I finished my spoon i looked at it and realized that all three pieces on my spoon were all something that is important to me in a personal way. When I created the spoon, I was trying to express what I like to do during leasure time. At the end the spoon did break at the point between the passport and the weight plate, to which i had to repair it, but then it broke again. Mrs. Barnett did fix it because it would never stay together with me trying to slip and score it. With the clay box I had to think of something to put on my roller, to which I put ivy branches on it, ivy has always fascinated me. I had to get a little creative with hot glueing over the ivy branches that I drew on my roller, to which I got it to look pretty decent.

When I was creating my clay box, I had to come up with ways to get the box not to be too small and to have precise measurements on my slabs. I had to be very careful with measuring my clay out and to get the right among of clay out. I also had to cut the clay and roll on the pattern with out breaking the clay at any point of making the eight slabs. I learned how to cut the clay not to little and not to big and to also to not have the slabs be to thin when rolling it out into the slabs. I think that with this experience I will be a lot more precise when rolling and cutting clay into what I need.
